Hii, Im pretty sure this is not intended but in the current version there is a bug related to item mods, whenever I've put a mod on a piece of gear, that respective piece also appears as a new item in my inventory, practically duping it. Hope this helps ^.^
It's actually a problem in 1.99 where entering the 'Learn Skill' menu, and then scrolling to other jobs, causes equipped items on that character to get 'duplicated' (in a manner of speaking, it's really more like two ways to get to the same item). This's been fixed in the 2.0 release that launched tonight!
Just finished the early access of 2.0. One of the best games I've played in years. Really incredible achievement. I've been dreading hitting the end for a few days now - you know that feeling when a game just has you totally immersed and you don't want it to be over? This is that. And the first thing I did after seeing "The End" screen was start a new save and jump right back in.
I'm trying to finish the Trade Routes side quest. But there seems to be a bug. Once I got a pack of golden coins, the soldier in Ordelle's Caves (forgot the name) who claims he is in debt didn't accept it. Instead, Vex at the Kazham Port, who wanted "something stronger than tea", "accidentally" accepted it and claimed "Bourban" is stronger than tea.
Now, I have a hard liquor and noone seems to be interested.
Okay, you should have been given Exotic Tea Leaves by Vex at Kazham Port. Try looking in King Ranperre's Tomb for the next NPC in the quest. He should accept the Exotic Tea Leaves. Give this a try and let me know if there are any issues!
I did it and got tiny animal skull, for that, I got a bottle of "Bourban" in Mhaura. Then, I failed to find anyone who wants it (I would suggest Vex, but she doesn't want it anymore, since she gave the tea leaves for golden coins).
Registration doesn't work for me now (some unknown error). Nevertheless, I filally found someone who exchanged the "Bourban". So no dead end (at least not for now).
Hi, question, is knowledge about the FF series needed to understand and play the game, or is it fine on its own? I'll probably try it either way, but just wanted to make sure.
Knowledge of previous FF titles / source material is not required to play and experience the game in its entirety.
Naturally there will be nods and Easter eggs throughout the game that may be better appreciated by those familiar with the material. But overall, it’s a standalone title.
Idk if there's a problem with my laptop but whenever I get into battle, the only thing that I see is half the screen and only the enemies, I don't see my characters so it's hard to monitor their health, and I would also like to know what the minimum system requirements should be to run this game
Duplication bug works like this:you go to Learn Skills check the skills of other jobs and the game doubles your equipment.If you unequip all before this don't happens.I don't know if changing jobs has the same effect.
And a minor thing:the equip screen don't show the attributes on the right,it only show what is changed when you equip something.
I had to register an account here just to express my appreciation for making this game, as well as giving a big thank you for the continued updates. I also want to chime in to counter some of the negativity in the comments below. This is, for all intents and purposes, a legitimate Final Fantasy game that fits in comfortably with the rest. As far as complaints about difficulty: learn the game, learn the job systems and how to synergize team mate's skills. There is your difficulty slider in a nutshell. Even the official FFs will eventually kick your teeth in if you just try the 'press A to win' tactics.

I have to give this a 3 star it a good concept but it way to hard I know some people like a challenge but not everyone like them. some like it casual or easy if you are still updating it I hope you will make it so that people will be able to choose the difficulty instead of making them to the one they are not good at. Not everyone can play on hard difficulty
You went to know what I am having problems with? Everything.I been doing nothing but grinding my ass of and you what It did? nothing. I am glad I didn't spend money on this because if I did I will be asking for a money back. I have some thing to tell you. have a declamer that this is a hard game. Make it so people can choose there own difficulties it not hard to do i seen people with far less telent then you allowing people to choose the difficulty. This game would be fun if it wasn't for you and I don't mean to sound mean but you are only thinking about yourself I get it you like a challenge in games some people don't I do not like a challenge I like casual game and because I am done with this trash of a game because no matter how good of game it is and I can tell you it would be a good game probably one of the best I ever played but the difficulty get make it trash.
Perhaps go play a casual game than. Instead of personally attacking a hard working dev. Or wasting your own fracking time complaining about a game that clearly isn't for you. I hear Angry Birds is pretty good for gamers that lack any sort of gaming skills.

I feel a bit silly for asking but I can't find the trail markings in bastok mines for the butterfly effect how to I find it .
