Patch 1.7.5 is live!
Patch 1.7.5 Preface
Hey, everyone! I hope you're ready for another release :D Patch 1.7.5 had a bit of a
rapid release compared to the others, but that's because we have a hard deadline for
final release. We've been working very hard on creating and testing content so I hope
you enjoy!
--New Member!--
First off, I'd like to officially welcome @Ixiaz to the Beta team! He's been a huge
help testing the new content and providing helpful feedback and suggestions. Thanks
again for joining the team, bud!
--New Areas and New Challenges--
With this patch, Temple of Uggalepih will see the light of day! I know many of you
have been looking forward to this dungeon since the early days. Well, here she is!
We'll also be able to take our first dive into Delkfutt's Tower! However, for some
reason, only Lower Delkfutt's Tower is available at this time... :P
Alongside the new dungeon, if you have been able to defeat the previous 2 Skull HNMs,
you'll be rewarded with an additional challenge in the form of their 3 skull counterpart!
--Job Adjustments--
As with every patch, we see some minor and major Job adjustments. I've been reading all
the feedback provided over the past month and a half and I can't say how appreciative
I am for such a dedicated and passionate community! The elephant in the room, looking
at you Red Mage, has seen some significant improvements for 1.7.5. Scholar has also
been given an addition to their Dark Arts in the form of Helix II spells, which they
can obtain at Lv. 61+
--Quests--
A few more major side quests have been added around Vana'diel to round of some of the
existing relic mod / JSE options. You'll see some new and familiar faces here :)
--Inventory--
Possibly one of the best implementations for long term players, we now have the ability
to drop items and equipment from our inventory! Exercise caution as always when dropping
anything from your inventory :) Another big ask from the community has been answered in
the form of new high level weapons placed in chests across Vana'diel. Enjoy the hunt!
These weapons are not meant to replace Relic weapons, but provide a stepping stone from
your tier 7 weapons. Many adjustments made to AF gear, rarity colors, etc. More detailed
information in the patch notes!
--Crafting--
Goldsmithing Vol.5 has now available in the Crafting Hall after defeating a certain
story boss! Glamify yourself with some new ring options :D
