Final Fantasy XI Braver 

Dawnbreaker Version 1.8

Wow! What a long long road this has been. It is hard to believe that

it is finally coming to a close. As we near almost 10 years of development,

Braver is getting its deserved full release. 

Braver has been a huge part of my life for a long time and I am so pleased

to be able to share it with each and every one of you. What started out

as a small solo project fan game has turned into a sprawling 100 hour

epic. I am forever grateful to everyone who has helped contribute to this

project. Everything from small bug reports, coding, graphic design, and

development. This project wouldn't be half of what it is without this

community and I am extremely humbled and elated to be able to share

this final version with you all. 

A special thank you to the dev team that have tirelessly grinded away to

make this experience extra special for everyone. A super special thank you

to this discord community, my wife, my family and my faith in Jesus Christ o/ 

Couldn't have done this without you all! 

To say that this release is bitter sweet is the hardest understatement I

can make and I hope that you'll continue to join me on my journey to create

games and great quality projects for years to come :) With all that out

of the way, let's get into why everyone is here, shall we? You can find the

detailed patch notes following this segment.

It is worth noting that due to the massive amount of changes and updates,

if you have never considered starting a fresh play through, now would be

an excellent time to do so!

1. Story Conclusion

The anticipated climax to the Braver storyline comes to a close with 1.8

What a ride it's been! This final chapter will take you into the far reaches

of the world in places such as Delkfutt's Tower, Ro'Maeve and Tu'Lia. What

fate will befall our heroes and the world of Vana'diel? Get ready to find out!

2. New Challengers

Not only does this patch introduce many iconic areas in FFXI, it also comes with

a massive compilation of new challenges. With over 50 new Notorious Monsters / Bosses

to encounter in many forms, this group of challengers will round out our equipment 

list quite nicely. 

Look hard enough, and you may find yourself some extremely challenging, nigh

unkillable bosses throughout the world :) Happy Hunting!

3. New Merits

It wouldn't be a story patch without the inclusion of the final tier of Merits!

Each Job has received their final skills to round out their kit. I can't wait

to see what type of combinations you all come up with!

4. Balance and Job Updates

Each job has been adjusted for the final balance patch. The biggest star of

the show is the new update to the Bard Job~ Prepare yourself for a stellar

performance unlike anything you've seen before!

5. New Quests!

11 new quests have been added to various areas around Vana'diel. Seek them out

and see what rewards they have in store!

6. New Game+

You got it, a full release of a New Game+ mode has been included once you have

completed the game. The old codes provided will no longer be viable, while a

brand new menu option will be provided after completing the story. Completing the

game may also reward you with something special :) keep a pen and paper ready!

7. Misc Adjustments and Updates

Thousands of other adjustments and updates have been completed to the existing

enemies, loot pools, abilities and more. I hope you enjoy the full patch notes!

8. Continued Rewards!

Lastly, as a special thank you to everyone in the discord, I'll be releasing

codes for the next couple of years at various milestones. Seriously, thank you

all for being so incredibly awesome :)
