Version 1.5.5 is live!


First off, I'd like to give a huge 3 Mog Salute to some very awesome members of our community!

Hard Reset, *Redacted* and Blaze Knight! Without their help, this game would not be what it is.

I can't thank you guys enough for the help!

That being said, I am very proud to present Patch 1.5.5

You may be thinking, it's a half patch, no big deal. But rest assured, this is

by far the biggest and best patch to date and has laid the foundation for Braver

to continue to move forward. 

I'd like to give another big thank you to every member in this community. Your feedback

is ALWAYS heard and very much appreciated. Without further ado, here are the big takeaways!

1. New Story Content!

4 Dungeons have been added to Chapter 2! With new Dungeons come new challenges, new

rewards and more! Look forward to diving into Garliage Citadel, Beadeaux, Davoi and Castle

Oztroja. These have been added to further fulfill the vision that was initially intended

for Braver. And to address that pesky level gap between certain points in the story :)

2. Massive World Expansion!

A total of 12!, count em' 12! new major areas have been added to Braver! And some minor 

areas of interest too. Not only does this dramatically increase the size of Braver-Vana'diel, 

it lays the foundation for future updates to come. I hope you enjoy exploring these new zones 

and find some goodies along the way.

3. Pu-...Pu-...Puppetmaster?!

The fabled and long awaited Puppetmaster has finally burst onto the scene! Along with 3

specific quests to unlock and progress this unique class. Thanks to the help of *Redacted*

and Blaze Knight, Puppetmaster has undergone rigorous testing in all of its variations

to ensure an excellent experience for everyone.

4. No more crashes! no more crashes! Looking at you, Beastmaster!

FINALLY, the Beastmaster crashes have been fixed! HUGE thank you to Blaze Knight for

tirelessly testing this class to help make it the POWERHOUSE that it has become. Pick

up a pet and start playing today :) 

5. What am I suppo- Oh, 21 new Quests should keep me busy for awhile...

That's right, 21 new quests have been added to the game! The likes of which will take

you all over Braver-Vana'diel. A BIG thank you to Hard Reset for his contribution 

in this department. /cheers! Some of you may even notice an easter egg or two 

within these questlines. Thanks again, buddy!

6. Wardrobe Upgrade

EVERY Weapon, Armor and Item in the game has undergone a makeover visually, receiving

new icons mirroring the exact icons in FFXI proper. Missing the feather in your 

Warlock's Chapeau? Not anymore. I'm personally very excited about this one, hope you 

are too!

7. Tinker's Tools

Another very much needed improvement...get ready to find exactly what you're looking

for, exactly when you need it. The Crafting Menu has received a massive overhaul!

Every mod has been organized in an easy to find fashion as well as the system allows.

Not only that, but the Crafting Books themselves have been updated to provide a more

streamlined experience overall.

Oh ya, Tier 3 mods exist now too :)

8. 40 minute fight, no drop huh? Sounds about right.

NM drop rates have been increased across the board, you're welcome :)

9. Hey Orc, Nice Makeover!

Thanks to *Redacted*, just about every single enemy sprite has been carefully remastered

to improve overall visual quality. Not only that, but a slew of new music tracks have

been doctored and implemented to accompany these nice new visuals.

All that is mentioned above is still only a fraction of how large this update is. If you'd

like to read the full patch notes, they will be included below. Once again, a huge

thank you to *Redacted* and Blaze Knight for their impressively relentless beta testing!
